Hello! I'm Adrián and this is not the first time that I post something in the blog but, anyway, I'm going to introduce myself:

I'm 13 years old and I study at Laguna de Joatzel HS in the bilingual program. My favourite hobby is music, I play the piano but I prefer listening to Heavy Metal bands. My favourite band is IRON MAIDEN.

They are an english heavy metal band. They were formed in 1975 and they have sold 100 million albums all over the world. These are some of their albums:

-Dave Murray - guitar.
-Adrian Smith - guitar, backing vocals, lead vocals.
-Janick Gers - guitar, backing vocals.
-Steve Harris - bass, keyboards, backing vocals.
-Nicko McBrain - drums, percussion, lead vocals.
-Michael Kenney - keyboards.

I like birds, playing computers games, formula one ...
Formula one is my favourite sport!!
My favourite pilots are Fernando Alonso and Pedro Martínez de la Rosa

I like computers games. My favourite computer game is Sim City 4 Deluxe. The game consists of building one city. I have got a city of 24.464 people in my super city but it is very difficult to have so many people. My city is called Concord F-1. I have got a space shuttle, a windy park, an international airpoirt ...

Hello everybody!

This is not the first time that I post in this blog but I'm going to introduce myself anyway. I'm Yoli (Yolanda) and I'm 13. I'm studying in the bilingual program of the Laguna de Joatzel HS in 2ºA. I like very much the program becuase I love learning and speaking languages and I think this way to learn English is fantastic! ;-)

I also like listening to music, going out with my friends, surfing the internet, playing video games... But one thing that I love doing is playing the piano. I've played the piano since I was 9 years old. This is my fourth year playing the piano. Now I'm learning to play a ballet called Sheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and also the Nocturno number 14 by Fryderyk Chopin, they're quite beautiful. Now I'm going to show you a video of myself playing a very easy song that I learnt before going to piano classes. It is called Let it be by The Beatles. I'm only going to play the first part in order not to bore you. I post particularly this song because it has a lyric and I'm going to sing it as well, its lyric is written below

I'm miriam

Hi! I'm miriam and I'm have 14 years, I live in Getafe, I go to the high school laguna de joatzel.
I have a lot of hobbies the most is ritmic gymnastic I like this sport because is I don't now but is very intresting for my.

About me (Mr Gutiérrez)

Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting a message to this blog so I'll introduce myself. I am Mr. Gutiérrez aka Javier at the English Department. I am the crazy teacher on the Vespa you see every morning. I teach 1ºB Literacy and 2ºB Literacy, too. My other classes are 4ºESO C and 1º Bach B. I must say I am lucky I don't have many students this year.

I love teaching languages and learning them as well. I think English classes are lots of fun and I hope my students enjoy what we do.

My hobbies are traveling abroad (when I can afford it!), good music, good books and hanging out with my friends. Oh I forgot. I love Macs! I collect old computers. One of my oldest computers was made in 1985.

The holidays have flown away and we have to return to the HS again an do homework, prepare exams, make up our own playscripts etc...

I think that this year is going to be as good as the last year or even better and we are are going to enjoy ourshelves everyday especially those who are in their second year.

Hello I'm Yoli again and I am going to show you a little video about magic. Well, it really is science.

(Its explenation is that the container is filled with a gas denser than the air, so a light object can 'float' in it. With a glass you can take the gas and throw it into the light object.)

My worst holidays

Hello, I'm Yoli!!

I've seen that nobody have written in our blog, but it probably means that you've been enjoying your holidays. But this is not my case... I would want to tell you now my wonderful adventures and funny things that I have done on holidays, but I cannot because I've got nothing to tell you.

At the beginnig I went to a village, in Ávila, for a weeks, but those days I was taking care of my little cousins, doing homeworks... no so many funny things. Then I returned to Getafe and my family and me were prepearing our house for having reforms. We had to buy all that this reform needed. The reform began and there are still things without finish. So, as I had nothing to do, I have been almost all summer doing homework.

So I can say that these are my worst summer holidays of my life. But after all some must be the worst.

I hope your holidays have been better than mine.
